Traffic Controller – Warehouse Logistics Coordinator

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Traffic Controller to oversee and coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound shipments for our client's warehouse operations in the SE. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate accurate receiving of all inbound shipments of raw materials and inter-facility transfers

• Verify all paperwork related to Purchase Orders and Transfer Numbers prior to offloading

• Create and manage inter-facility transfers, consolidating products to optimize freight efficiency

• Allocate trailers to dock doors in collaboration with yard personnel

• Assign receiving staff to inbound shipments and ensure timely processing

• Communicate inbound product status to relevant departments, especially 3PQC/QC teams

• Update and maintain inbound tracking on Google Sheets in real time

• Review and prioritize Picking Slips, determining which are held or released

• Generate and communicate daily priority lists for 3PQC and Production departments

• Assign temperature recorders and seal IDs to deliveries, submitting records to Order Desk Coordinator(s)

• Assign pickers to approved orders and coordinate with QC/Production on pending items

• Ensure correct trailers are docked for loading and that shipments meet all quality standards

• Oversee the collection of Confirmation Sheets and coordinate shipping personnel

• Maintain and update Truck Resources and shipment tracking sheets consistently

• Perform any additional duties within the scope of the Traffic Controller role as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse coordination, or traffic control (preferred)

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Proficient with digital tracking systems, especially Google Sheets

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments under tight deadlines

• Familiarity with food safety and handling procedures is an asset
