Group Summary:
The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, design and improve the operational systems, processes and policies to support Magna's Top Priorities: World Class Manufacturing, Innovation, Leadership Development
- Develop linkages to ensure alignment and accountability regarding continuous improvement within the divisions
- Share best practices and lessons learned across the divisions
- Review project performance and prepare status reports
- Stay intricately connected with technology, commercial and product applications to maintain a deep knowledge of current developments in the product line
- Understand customer needs and then identity and implement process improvements aligned with customer
- Analyze relevant data to identity large scale improvement opportunities
- Monitor and measure the impact of changes implemented
- Develop metrics and analyze data for process measurement identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of operational systems and processes
- Use AI technology for data analysis and data prediction
Professional Experience and Education:
- Minimum completion of a University of a Sciences degree in IT or equivalent areas
- Professional (5 years of experience)
- Experience with High Risk projects
Skills and Competencies:
- Specialized knowledge and know how to conduct higher-level analysis
- Knowledge of cross functional business disciplines (sales, marketing, development, manufacturing, quality, legal regulatory, information systems)
- Good communication, presentation / moderation skills
- Experience with Continuous Improvement, Problem Solving, cost effectiveness, Innovation and Creativity

- Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office
