The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a Parts Warehouse Person to join our team in Coquitlam, British Columbia. As the Parts Warehouse Person, you will be responsible for accurately processing all incoming goods and outgoing orders in a timely manner as well as ensuring all goods are neatly and accurately stored.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Parts Warehouse Person your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ship and receive goods to and from internal and external shipping places of origin
  • Maintain parts inventory and organization
  • Receive, fill, and process work orders
  • Review and investigate outstanding purchase orders
  • Prepare and track freight claims as well as initiating vendor claims
  • Conduct general warehousing duties, such as stocking shelves and filling customer orders
  • In the event of a safety incident, completes all necessary paperwork as laid out in the Leavitt Safety Program
  • Participate in inventory counts
  • Other duties as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • High school diploma, or equivalency, is required
  • Forklift certification (Counterbalanced [Class 1, 4, and 5] Lift-truck Operator Certification) is an asset, but not required
  • Previous work experience in a warehouse environment, or working with parts, is preferred
  • Basic computer skills, including using Outlook and ERP systems
  • Comfortable working to externally imposed deadlines

The base pay for this role is: $31.72 per hour. This is a unionized position.

This is an onsite role based in Coquitlam BC.
