Job Title:
Adult Ministry and Events Administrator
Purpose Statement:
To facilitate a high-trust, fast-paced and action-oriented staff team environment that supports the contributions of each team member and the general responsibility of the Adult Ministry Team
Reports to:
Adult Ministries Team Lead
Responsibilities:
- General administrative support for the Adult Ministries Team and Ministries [Seniors, Groups, Alpha, Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals, Care, Seniors, Child Dedications etc]
- Manage all general communication and communication systems with church family, staff, volunteers and other church connections for the Adult Ministries Team
- Create and manage Team Asana Projects
- Process and oversee registration for all events
- Assist with the planning and overseeing of AdultMin trainings, events, meetings
- Submit comms requests to and coordinate promotion schedules
- Coordinate credit card reconciliation and other financial requests
- Administratively support Community Groups [monthly emails, assist with zoom set up, weekly community groups leader questions etc.
- Administratively support all areas of Discipleship.
- Update Google Calendar and Big Dates Calendar with Adult Min events
- Attend and support team meetings
- Manage the day to day budget of the Adult Ministries Team
- Assist the Adult Ministries Team Lead with Budget Forecasting and Planning
- Coordinate Sunday Greeting team and assist at the Blue Wall
- Develop and manage a healthy volunteer base
- Responsible for leading and managing all Adult Min events including 65+ trips, weekly community classes. Assisting with all church events including the Annual Members Meeting, Christmas Party, and any other events put on and/or supported by the Adult Ministries Team
- Any other tasks assigned by the Adult Min Team Lead or the Senior Leadership
Job Requirements
- Experience in handling a wide range of administrative duties and executive support-related tasks
- Fluent in English verbal and written skills
- Ability to take initiative, problem solve and make decisions within the job scope
- Good understanding of processes, policies and procedures
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task without supervision
- A creative mind with a heart to serve the church
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week
