Position Overview: The Terminal Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily terminal operations to ensure safety, operational efficiency, and on-time service delivery. This role provides leadership to frontline employees, supports terminal processes, and fosters a safe and productive work environment. The Terminal Supervisor works closely with Management, Dispatch, and Drivers to meet performance targets and customer service expectations.Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe work environment by proactively identifying and addressing safety concerns.
• Monitor daily operational performance and ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
• Communicate effectively with Management, Dispatch, Drivers, and Staff to coordinate freight flow and assign work.
• Ensure proper equipment is utilized and available for outbound shipments and loading/unloading processes.
• Coordinate the loading of all dedicated LTL deliveries and straight trucks to meet early morning cut-off times.
• Support accuracy targets by ensuring freight is properly itemized, weighed, and cubed to meet reweigh & cube goals.
• Attend scheduled meetings and respond to emails, phone calls, and other communication in a timely manner.

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with TruckMate or similar transportation management systems is considered an asset.
• Comfortable using scanners and other handheld technology to track freight.

Working Conditions:

• Monday - Friday
• 6:00 AM start time
• Warehouse environment — may involve exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels depending on the season.
• Safety footwear required.
