THE POSITION

ATTA Elevators is seeking a qualified individual to join our team located at the Ottawa office. This position will report directly to the Regional VP. The Sales Representatives primary responsibility will be to generate sales and build relations with prospective new clients.

Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situation

When required complete walkthroughs for Maintenance and Modernization surveys

Handle cancellations or changes in sales order and communicating the changes with the related departments

Understand the technical and commercial applications of ATTA Elevators service and effectively communicate their value to potential clients

Work collaboratively with cross functional peers on strategy and execution including inside sales, end user channel, transactional channel, and service

Coordinate for the status on orders from related departments, ensuring the delivery commitment to clients is met

Emphasize service or product features and benefits, quoting prices, and preparing sales order process

Participate fully in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes

Identify decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to start sales process

Cooperate with sales and management to determine essential strategic approaches for sales

Maintain and expand the database of prospects of the organization

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

A minimum of 3 years sales experience

Exhibit strategic thinking, initiative, and leadership skills

Ability to work independently outside of the office (remote working) and manage a geographically dispersed customer base

Self-starter with strong business and financial acumen and understanding of the construction channel business model

Experience developing and delivering presentations to diverse audiences (estimators, project managers, directors, owners)

Knowledge of Elevator and/or Construction processes and regulations is considered an asset
