About Position:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Lead Python Developer to join our innovative team. As a forward-thinking company that continually improves the financial lives of our customers, we aim to develop cutting-edge financial and business tools. In this Lead-level position, you will be responsible for building and maintaining software applications and ability to lead the team that meet the needs of millions of users globally.

  • Role: Lead Python Developer
  • Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (3 days a week Onsite)
  • Experience: 12+ Years
  • Job Type: Full Time Employment

What You'll Do:

  • Building high-performance APIs using Python and AWS services.
  • Implementing automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python ) to manage AWS services.
  • Building tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system resources in an AWS environment.
  • Developing software components in Python that interact with AWS cloud services by leveraging the AWS APIs.
  • Drive aggressive implementation of application requirements for functionality and quality.
  • Drive infrastructure software standards and guidelines, Performance analysis, benchmarking and detailed design of the system.
  • Familiarity with client-server architecture and networking tools (e.g. SNMP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, telnet, NETCONF etc.)
  • Frontend scripting or web development (e.g. Angular/React, HTML5, CSS3 etc.)
  • Experience with MySQL and/or Oracle
  • Experience with LAMP and Open-source based technologies.
  • Service Provider network experience is a major plus
  • Experience with NoSQL databases e.g. Redis / Cassandra
  • Familiarity with Web Services, REST & XML-RPC
  • Experience with version control systems, such as svn / git

Educational Qualifications:
