Selkirk Chrysler is looking for a Working Shop Foreman! As the Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily shop operations, supporting our technicians, and ensuring high-quality repairs and service work. This is a dual role, you'll continue to work on vehicles while also coordinating workflow, diagnosing complex issues, and being a go-to leader for the service team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and complex repairs alongside the technician team

• Dispatch work effectively to ensure productivity and shop efficiency

• Act as the primary technical resource for technicians and advisors

• Maintain quality control by reviewing work and test-driving vehicles

• Collaborate with the Service Manager and Advisors to manage repair timelines and customer expectations

• Mentor, coach, and support technician development

• Help manage workflow, shop cleanliness, and safety compliance

• Assist with roadblocks or escalated repair challenges

Qualifications

• Red Seal Automotive Technician certification

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive technician

• Previous experience in a leadership or dispatch role preferred

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent organizational, communication, and team leadership abilities

• Ability to lead by example with a hands-on approach

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
