The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, were seeking a creative, adaptable, and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to manage the development and execution of marketing strategies and creative assets for the Philanthropic Leadership Gifts portfolio, with an emphasis on donor stewardship and experience. This portfolio includes Philanthropic Leadership Gifts, Womens Philanthropy, Transformational Campaigns, and Missions.
The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage the development and execution of marketing strategies and plans for a designated portfolio, including: Events, Emails, Fundraising Materials, Reports, Newsletters, and Stewardship initiatives, among others.
Lead project brief-ins and provide creative direction to other UJA teams and external vendors in the development of impactful marketing collateral
Provide direction for all collateral, and other visual and digital communications; ensure marketing campaigns are designed for a positive donor/fundholder experience, maintain brand image and standards, and deliver on fundraising objectives
Oversee content development, design process, project plans, work-back schedules and approvals
Ensures Marketing processes are adhered to and/or improved to ensure expectations are met while marketing resources are managed
Develop workback schedules and ensure all creative project details are captured in project management software and that deadlines are met
Conduct rigorous follow-up to stay on the critical path, ensuring communication of project status to all key stakeholders on a regular established basis
Review marketing materials for branding, spelling/grammar, continuity, etc. to ensure standards are being upheld
Work collaboratively with UJAs creative marketing teams as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing projects are planned, scheduled, and executed to a high professional standard and in effective coordination with other UJA marketing activities/initiatives.
Ensure creative assets align to UJAs overarching marketing, communications, and brand strategy
Assess marketing trends and best practices in order to leverage the latest techniques to continually elevate the impact of marketing campaigns within the portfolio
Operate in a flexible, agile, supportive, and inclusive work environment
Anticipate and resolve challenges in a constructive, collaborative way
Assist with the creation and development of marketing assets that adhere to brand and project goals, including building emails, updating copy within design, working within designed templates, etc.
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Events, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience

Keen understanding of the creative process, including the interplay of design, content, digital, andexperiential marketing elements
Proactive with excellent organizational and time management skills
Experience in project management
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues and stakeholders, donors, lay leadership, community, etc.
Must be willing to work off-hours as required, including evenings or weekends during event times.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical capabilities with excellent attention to detail; strategic thinker
Experience or familiarity with luxury marketing, advertising, and/or public relations is an asset
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Email building software (such as Stripo) is an asset
Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
Familiarity with a non-profit/fundraising organization considered an asset
