Are you passionate about supporting seniors and contributing to your community? Are you interested in contributing to a once in a lifetime redevelopment project of the home? Sherwood Park Manor, a respected non-profit long-term care home serving Brockville and surrounding areas, is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Board of Directors.
As a Board Member, you will play a vital role in guiding the strategic direction of Sherwood Park Manor, ensuring high standards of care, transparency, and sustainability in our operations.

Sherwood Park Manor, a respected non-profit long-term care home serving Brockville and surrounding areas, is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Board of Directors.
As a Board Member, you will play a vital role in guiding the strategic direction of Sherwood Park Manor, ensuring high standards of care, transparency, and sustainability in our operations.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have experience in governance, healthcare, finance, education, law, HR, communications, or community leadership
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the care and dignity of seniors
- Are willing to contribute time and expertise to support our mission
- Can collaborate effectively as part of a diverse, dedicated board
- Attending regular board meetings (approximately 10 per year)
- Serving on board committees as needed
- Supporting the home's strategic initiatives and policy development
- Advocating for excellence in long-term care
- Previous board or volunteer experience is an asset but not required. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who reflect the community we serve.
