Leggat Collision Center is looking for Apprentice Body Shop Technicians in Burlington! An excellent opportunity with a quickly growing, dynamic business... Over 100 RO's! Option of Hourly or Flat Rate!

Our Leggat Collision Centre is a high-volume facility with multiple direct repair insurance programs and FIVE Leggat dealerships within 5km radius. Our Collision Centre is seeking the addition of an Apprentice Autobody & Collision Repair Technician to contribute to the production of a continuous growing company. Job Duties:

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
  • Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.
  • Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors.
  • Perform road tests and safety inspections.

Successful Candidates Possess:

  • Valid Driver's License (Class G) and a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of one year Auto Body Repair experience is required
  • Registered with the Province of Ontario for 310B Apprenticeship program is required
  • Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
  • Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude
  • Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies
  • Entry-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair preferred
  • Strong physical dexterity for working with tools
  • Collaborates well with others in a team setting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
