Customer Service Representative International Freight Forwarding Forestry Division.
We are seeking a well-organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our International Freight Forwarding team in the Forestry Division. Based in our Vancouver office, this role will be responsible for coordinating international transportation services while supporting customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and division goals.

This is an in-office position. Monday Friday 8:30am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of international logistics, including container bookings, transloading, deliveries, documentation, and invoicing.
Oversee workflows and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and client service.
Liaise with suppliers, ocean carriers, transload facilities, mills, sales offices, and overseas customers to ensure seamless and timely order fulfillment.
Monitor shipments to ensure compliance with carrier cut-off dates, Verified Gross Mass (VGM) deadlines, and vessel loading schedules.
Manage and issue critical shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, Commercial Invoices, and Mill Certificates.
Communicate with carriers for B/L instructions, proof approval, and final document issuance.
Provide clients with accurate export documentation aligned with sales agreements and letters of credit.
Maintain and update order management systems and KPI tracking tools.
Provide regular shipment status updates to clients via email, phone, and spreadsheet reports.
Manage cargo volumes to align with short-term and long-term allocation targets.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in international marine freight forwarding.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to work under pressure and manage varying workloads.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
CIFFA education program completed (preferred).
Some post-secondary education (preferred).
A willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and development.
