About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee the construction of mid-rise wood-frame residential projects (up to 8 stories) valued at $100 million plus across Metro Vancouver. In this leadership role, you will manage all aspects of on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-driven leader with a deep understanding of wood-frame construction on concrete parkade. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage on-site construction activities for mid-rise wood-frame residential projects from start to finish.

• Develop and execute project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans, ensuring all milestones are met.

• Oversee subcontractor and supplier coordination, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to project specifications.

• Ensure strict compliance with BC Building Codes, municipal regulations, and workplace safety standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and troubleshooting to address construction challenges proactively.

• Foster a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring all team members follow WorkSafeBC and company safety policies.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and quality assurance records.

• Provide mentorship and leadership to site teams, promoting teamwork and professional development.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and senior leadership to drive project success.

What You Bring:

• 10+ years of experience in multi-family residential construction, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent role.

• Proven track record leading mid-rise wood-frame residential projects (4 to 8 stories) valued at $50M - $100M from start to finish as the lead.

• Strong understanding of wood-frame construction techniques, sequencing, and best practices.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

• Deep knowledge of BC Building Codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.

• Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar).
