The Opportunity:

Were looking for a Customer Success Lead whos more than just responsive -youre proactive, obsessed with delivering value, and relentless about improving the customer journey. This isnt a support role tucked in the corner. Youll be the face of the product, the client advocate, and the internal catalyst for continuous improvement.
Youll report directly to the President of Second Engine and have a front-row seat - and voice - in shaping our client support function. If you're curious, tech-savvy, and fired up about making a visible impact in a fast-growing SaaS environment, this is the role for you
Youll have the opportunity to lead and learn:
- Be the first and most trusted point of contact for our clients, ensuring every interaction is efficient, empathetic, and insightful
- Lead support conversations via email, chat, and live video - offering both reactive solutions and proactive guidance
- Investigate issues by analyzing tickets, logs, and client feedback -and communicate them clearly to Product and Engineering
- Triage support queues with strategic urgency - youll know whats mission-critical and what can wait
- Reproduce technical issues and translate them into actionable insights and documentation
- Host client calls to troubleshoot live or guide them through solutions
- Maintain and expand our internal Knowledge Base - turning insights into scalable, repeatable knowledge
- Champion client feedback internally - if somethings slowing them down, youll make sure we know
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase clarity, speed, and consistency across support
What were looking for
- Customer Support Mastery: Experience providing technical support for software products. You get what clients need before they even ask - and love turning issues into wins.
- Clear Communicator: You translate tech-speak into human-speak effortlessly, and you're confident writing, speaking, and problem-solving under pressure.
- Technical Fluency: Youre hands-on with tools like Excel/Google Sheets and have a working understanding of SQL. Troubleshooting is your second language.
- Collaborative Mindset: You love working across teams and thrive when working with Product, Engineering, and Clients to find solutions that stick.
- Action-Oriented: You take initiative, follow through consistently, and proactively solve problems without waiting for permission. You're always looking for ways to make things better. .
- Domain Expertise: You bring experience in financial services, or youre a fast learner ready to dive into the complexities of a high-impact industry.
Nice to have
- Experience with support platforms like Zendesk, ServiceNow, or similar
- Prior exposure to SaaS platforms - especially in startup or scale-up environments
