Key Responsibilities
- Work with divisional and corporate finance teams to interpret and analyze financial and operational performance data.
- Extract, compile, and summarize financial data from SAP and other systems for use in presentations and reports.
- Prepare quarterly and annual MD&A documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in resolving complex accounting matters and support ad hoc financial reporting issues as they arise.
- Coordinate and support the preparation of quarterly presentations for senior leadership and the audit committee.
- Collaborate with FP&A and other business units to align messaging in external and internal reporting deliverables.
- Support quarterly reviews and year-end audit processes, providing required schedules and reconciliations.
- Drive improvement initiatives to streamline reporting processes and elevate the quality of outputs.
- Lead or contribute to special projects involving financial communications and data storytelling.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness across all financial reporting outputs.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA designation is required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial reporting or accounting role within a public company setting.
- Expertise in Excel (including advanced formulas and modeling techniques) and PowerPoint (for executive reporting).
- Experience working with SAP, SAC, or Workiva is a strong asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data for a non-technical audience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in the financial services or asset management industry is considered an advantage.
