Supreme Steel is looking for a Senior Project Controls individual to join our team on the Aspen Power Station project site near Guernsey, SK.This 'in person' position will be required to work either at job sites or in the Saskatoon office location so local is preferred.Preference will be given to applicants with expert scheduling skills using Primavera (P6).

This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Scheduling project resources for the job site
• Analyzing the schedule and help determine execution strategies
• Field progressing and reporting
• Quantity surveying
• Change management, cost control and change estimating
• Populating schedules based on inputs from the Project Estimators
• Daily communication with Project Managers and other functional managers
• Providing weekly updates to senior level managers

Having proven experience with heavy industrial construction / erection projects in Western Canada, the successful candidate will also possess the following attributes:

• Minimum 5-10 years Canadian experience with P6 Scheduling / associated project controls preferred
• Previous experience with shutdown scheduling
• Expert Microsoft Excel and Word competency including preparing project graphs and reports
• Steel Construction estimating skills
• Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
• Time management skills
• Solves problems and contributes new ideas that improve quality and efficiency
