We are on the hunt for a new Service Representative to join our highly collaborative, fun and dynamic team!

As the Service Representative you will manage the following:

Renewal Reports

  • Preparing client renewal template reports for the Account Executives.
  • Coordinates with insurer for missing information as required

Client records

  • Maintaining client files, recording rate changes, plan design changes and terminating old client files.
  • Maintaining Renewal Listing to reflect accurate premium and commissions information
  • Responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of the record card, including updates that were delegated to Service Assistant

Assisting the Account Executives with development of marketing specifications or implementation of new groups as required

Facilitating client contract amendments with the insurance company, proof reading employee booklets, contracts and contract amendments before forwarding to the clients.

Client Service

  • Answering client inquiries related to plan administration or claiming rules/procedures
  • Assisting plan administrators and employees with claims, service or administration issues and coordinating with insurance companies to resolve on their behalf.
  • Ensuring that requests sent to insurance carriers are completed in a timely manner, and appropriate follow-ups are made
  • Review administration procedures for group plan with client as required

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the group benefits industry
  • Excellent follow-up and problem solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, Maximizer, PowerPoint and performing Internet research.
  • Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Enjoys a fast paced challenging environment.
  • Team player who is also able to work independently.
  • Ability to work well with others throughout the organization.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time position in a remote work setting (with some in-office requirements each month)

Job Hours: Thirty-five (35) hours per week, seven hours (7) per day, Monday to Friday

Location: Vancouver, BC

Start Date: As soon as possible

Posting and Closing Date: Open until filled

Salary Range: $57,000 - $72,000 (dependent on experience)
