Position Overview: Aarista is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Procurement and Asset Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of IT equipment, software, and services, as well as overseeing the lifecycle of IT assets within the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that our IT infrastructure is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT equipment, software, and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Manage vendor relationships and performance.

Asset Management:

  • Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure optimal utilization and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Budgeting and Reporting:

  • Develop and manage the IT procurement budget.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, asset management, and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement and asset management.
  • Implement best practices for procurement and asset management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT procurement and asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
