Role: Platform Specialist
Reporting to: Manager, Enterprise Network Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as top-tier support for fault identification, isolation, and resolution across IP & Access networks.
- Conduct performance and fault analysis; recommend innovative resolution strategies.
- Manage configuration and maintenance of IP & Access network elements.
- Support change control processes, including impact analysis and implementation.
- Automate network operations using in-house and open-source tools.
- Maintain network design and support documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering on network design and performance issues.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new technologies and services.
- Participate in on-call support rotation.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Networking/Technology.
- 8+ years in a Service Provider environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, etc.).
- Experience with Nokia platforms (7750SR, 7360 XGS-PON), TiMOS, 5620 NSP.
- Familiarity with automation, Splunk, Grafana, and log parsing tools.
- Security/DDoS mitigation experience; Lean-Six Sigma is a plus.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.
