THE ROLE
New Metric Media is seeking a Digital Media Content Creator who is passionate about TV to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and managing the social and web presence across our content brands, e-commerce and our corporate brand.
This is a highly collaborative, creative role that involves brainstorming, coordinating, and executing visual ideas from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate has exceptional design skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to solve creative challenges with innovative solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and publish innovative, engaging content for New Metric Media's social media platform
- Schedule content in alignment with New Metric Media's social media calendar and strategy
- Collaborate across teams (development, production, marketing) to plan and execute community engagement strategies and tactics
- Monitor social media channels, interact with users, and respond to all messages, inquiries, and comments
- Assist in the design of marketing materials and brand assets including newsletters, merchandise graphics, advertisements, and more
- Assist with ongoing maintenance and updates to New Metric Media's website
- Manage creative assets, ensuring materials are properly archived and organized
- Support additional graphic design needs across the organization as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- A passionate TV superfan who loves entertainment and pop culture
- Experience in media, film/TV, or advertising is highly valued (but not mandatory)
- Passionate about social media as a creative medium and marketing platform
- Strong design fundamentals: typography, layout, color theory, composition, and attention to detail
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere), Apple Keynote, and Google Slides
- Knowledge of video editing best practices and experience with appropriate software
- Comfortable working on macOS and in digital content workflows
- Working knowledge of HTML and Wordpress for basic website updates
- Proficiency on all major social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok
- Ability to produce innovative social media content
- Strong copywriting skills, good with time management, obsessed with details and highly organized
- Receptive to feedback & direction to make the work stronger
- Highly energetic team player who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset: willing to explore unconventional ideas, take measured risks, and move quickly on opportunities
