Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software development and IT infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for driving projects to successful completion in a fast-paced healthcare IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, IT staff, and business analysts.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure adherence to agile best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Risk & Issue Management:

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve project issues and roadblocks promptly to maintain momentum.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and status reports.

Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical project management in software development.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), agile methodologies, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT standards and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
