Associate, Commercial Litigation

Responsibilities
- Advise clients on complex commercial litigation matters including securities litigation, insolvency, regulatory proceedings, shareholder activism, and construction disputes.
- Draft and review pleadings, legal memoranda, and court submissions.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on intricate and emerging issues.
- Manage litigation files and support senior counsel throughout the litigation lifecycle.
- Represent clients before courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in strategy sessions and contribute to business development initiatives.

Requirements
- LL.B. or J.D. and member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- 4–5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, ideally at a leading law firm.
- Strong legal writing, advocacy, and client advisory skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen and ability to navigate client needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative, proactive, and professional approach to legal practice.
