Our client, a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture and environmental consulting, is seeking an Intermediate Hydrogeologist as part of their Environmental Services Group. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid role, available out of any of their Markham, Toronto, Stoney Creek, Waterloo and London offices.
As an Intermediate Hydrogeologist, you would be involved in a variety of projects related to hydrogeologic assessments, with a specific focus on the mining industry. The core competencies for this position include:

- Familiarity with local practices and markets as well as entry-level project management skills are considered an asset
- A valid G driver's license is required
Your Capabilities and Credentials:
- Follow safe work practices and adhere to company and client guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner
- Organize field investigations in support of hydrogeology studies including drilling, well construction, and testing oversight; groundwater and surface water sampling; water level monitoring; hydraulic conductivity testing; and infiltration testing
- Develop conceptual site hydrogeologic understanding
- Analyze and interpret data including pumping test results, aquifer response, surface water, and groundwater interaction
- Prepare technical reports documenting field investigations, analytical results, and interpretation
- Assist project managers with developing project budgets, determining project scope, and establishing project schedules
- Travel as required to various field sites with overnight travel sometimes required
- Demonstrate sound understanding and application of established practices, standards, and guidelines
Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary educational background, ideally M.Sc., specializing in a Geoscience or Engineering program with an emphasis on hydrogeology.
- A minimum of 5 years of hydrogeological experience.
- Existing professional registration or ability to work towards a professional registration (P.Geo. or P.Eng.)
