The Role

As Director, Investor Relations, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of market-facing communications. You'll shape the company's investor narrative, drive engagement across the capital markets, and support executive leadership with strategic positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the investor relations strategy, ensuring consistent and compelling communication with institutional and retail shareholders
  • Manage relationships with analysts, shareholders, and potential investors
  • Oversee the preparation of investor materials including presentations, news releases, factsheets, and quarterly earnings content
  • Act as a key spokesperson for the company at conferences, roadshows, and investor meetings
  • Monitor market trends, investor sentiment, and peer activity to inform communications strategy
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership and external advisors on capital markets positioning

Qualifications

  • 7–15 years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Development, or Capital Markets within the mining or natural resources sector
  • Deep understanding of capital markets, public company disclosure, and regulatory frameworks (TSX/NYSE preferred)
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and media
  • Experience supporting executives during financing rounds or major corporate transactions is a plus
