Our client in the professional services sector is seeking a contract based Senior QA Lead to lead the execution of UAT for a large Salesforce implementation.
Location: Hybrid occasional visit to client Edmonton
Duration: 6 months to start
Responsibilities:
- Lead UAT efforts across a team of 15–40 client-side QA and BA professionals.
- Serve as the primary liaison with client to ensure alignment, clarity, and timely communication.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce a structured and consistent UAT test plan.
- Oversee all aspects of functional testing (no automation or performance testing in current scope).
- Define test scenarios, validate test coverage, and ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and quality assurance best practices to the UAT team.
- Deliver regular status updates, risk assessments, and issue escalations to project stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of QA experience with at least 3 years in a QA Lead role focusing on UAT.
- Experience in Insurance sector
- Experience wiht Salesforce implementations
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale QA efforts in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong consultative and communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and expectations.
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities with cross-functional teams.
