Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Generalist for a 3-week contract in Langley, BC. This fully onsite role offers the convenience of free parking and involves providing comprehensive IT support for 30-35 end users. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong technical background in a Microsoft environment, skilled in user onboarding/offboarding, server troubleshooting, and network management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and system issues using a ticketing system.
- Onboard and offboard users, including managing accounts in Active Directory.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server and network issues, including those involving Cisco devices.
- Ensure smooth IT operations by addressing support tickets promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain and improve IT systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT support, particularly in a Microsoft environment.
- Proficiency in Active Directory user management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for server and network issues, especially Cisco equipment.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Must drive or live in close proximity to Langley, BC, to meet the onsite requirement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical users effectively.
