Insight Global is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a top bank in downtown Toronto for a 6-month contract to support financial operations. The consultants will be essential to support a general ledger project with an emphasis on ensuring the reporting hierarchy in S4/HANA is accurate for future reporting purposes. This Senior Analyst will be responsible for mapping and analyzing hierarchies between S/4HANA and the downstream system to ensure the accounting reporting is correctly mapped for the IFRS and US GAAP standards. Previous experience within a large financial institution working with large datasets is critical for the role. This role requires someone who is a self-starter, organized, and is great at cross-collaboration.

Must-haves:

- 5+ years of experience within large banking institutions, preferably in finance and/or accounting.

- Experience performing financial reporting.

- Confident working with large datasets, including running queries.

- Financial product knowledge, such as types of loans and deposits.

- Great communication and organization skills.
