Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional IT experience. The person must have demonstrated an ability to think strategically and translate plans into operational excellence.
- Deep expertise & business knowledge in the Pharma/Biotech/Dia/information industry and associated processes, preferred with experiences in Cell & Gene Therapy.
- Domain knowledge in Technical Operations (Manufacturing, Quality and Logistics)
- System Integration skills around ERP, LIMS, MES to support an End 2 End Supply Chain
- Expertise in multiple technologies domains (e.g. networks, systems, databases, security, etc.)
- Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
- Remains "evergreen" and keeps up-to-date with technology trends and emerging technologies
- Demonstrated ability to develop and articulate a vision for one or more technology domains
- Proven experience of creating architecture designs using a formal architecture framework methodology - TOGAF, Zachman.
- Demonstrated ability to frame complex issues and persuade a wide and diverse audience
Responsibilities:
- Assesses current state of solutions, defines future state needs, identifies gaps and recommends new technology solutions and strategic business execution improvements
- Business process engineering/re-engineering
- Facilitate stakeholder sessions with personnel across all disciplines in the company to identify and define requirements, assess business processes and evaluate technology solutions
- Conduct solution architecture research, PoCs, PoVs, feasibility assessment and facilitate solution application selections
- Formulate business and logical data and solution architectures comprised of software, network, hardware and integration designs
- Conducts impact assessments and mitigation plans
- Works closely with Enterprise Architects on defining long term architecture vision, integration patterns and review of technical portfolio.
- Creates and owns the Solution Architecture documentation
- Develops IT Strategy & Roadmap consistent with the overall strategic needs of the business division.
