LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst – Identity and Access Management (IAM) for a 3-year contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to support a high-impact identity and access management (IAM) transformation initiative for a major federal institution. This hybrid consulting role plays a key part in modernizing access control and authentication infrastructure with tools like Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and SailPoint IdentityIQ.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with stakeholders across departments to gather, document, and validate business requirements
• Analyze current vs. future state business processes and help design improved workflows
• Support the deployment of IAM solutions including Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA, and Entitlement Management
• Facilitate workshops and translate complex needs into clear technical and functional documentation
• Contribute to testing, user training, and change management planning
• Develop communications, end-user documentation, and training materials

What You Bring

• 10+ years of business analysis experience, including stakeholder management
• 5+ years of experience in IAM-related projects (Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA, SAML, etc.)
• Strong understanding of IAM and Zero Trust architecture
• Experience migrating or implementing enterprise access management platforms
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and UAT processes

Nice to Have

• CBAP certification (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
• Knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ
• Experience using data analytics and automation to streamline tasks

Technical Requirements

• Must have a compatible Windows 10/11 device with rights to install software
• Smartphone capable of running Microsoft Authenticator (for MFA access)
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
