PrideNow is hiring a Parts Procurement Supervisor with experience in automotive procurement for a facility management client in Oshawa, ON. This is a direct hire position with benefits.
The Parts Procurement Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that our business has the supplies and materials required to run smoothly in both mobile equipment repair and facility maintenance repair. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Inventory control and Industrial purchasing, with sound knowledge of SAP, Microsoft and Google platforms.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, day shift (7am-3pm)
- Weekends as required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise up to 3 team members in the parts procurement division;
- Research required parts through manuals and internet searches;
- Communicate regularly with MFGs and vendors to determine the best prices;
- Request, receive, and process vendor quotes;

- Prepare requisition orders for all parts required;
- Receive and verify all incoming parts and supplies by updating the tracking sheets;
- Maintain all records pertaining to goods ordered, received, and shipped off site;
- Store parts and materials in the appropriate designated locations;
- Maintain minimum and maximum levels for all parts and materials;
- Work with trades persons to ensure correct orders are placed on parts and materials;
- Work with vendors in ensuring purchase orders are issued and received on time;
- Work with facility maintenance supervisors in advising of parts received for expediting repairs;
- Prepare and Ensure MSR shipping documents are processed;
- Manage and present all costs savings initiatives to the customer;
- Maintain the mobile equipment repair stock room and parts storage to ensure safety and cleanliness;
- Maintain mobile equipment repair cost spreadsheets and records relating to harvested parts;
- Monitor Robinson Equipment Repair Database "Fleetio " to understand status of units and spending costs;
- Maintain adequate levels of facility maintenance parts and of consumable items for Trades personnel;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive procurement industry.
- Post-secondary education required;
- Must pass the certified Customer-TDG Training every two years;
- Able and willing to work flextime shifts as business needs require;
- Ability to reliably commute to Oshawa, ON for work.
