THE POSITION

Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Payable (“AP”) ensures accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments to vendors. He / She is responsible for receiving, verifying, and reconciling invoices, as well as ensuring proper coding and recording of AP transactions. The position also involves maintaining records, assisting with month-end closings, and resolving any discrepancies with vendors

The AP Coordinator will be based at Boyd Interactive's offices located in North York, Ontario, and will work closely with Boyd Gaming on corporate AP matters related to Boyd Interactive's activities in US and Canada.

Responsibilities Include:

· Ensure accurate processing of all AP transactions (invoices, employee expense reports, credit

card statements, etc.)

· Oversee and, where necessary, process vendor and employee payments in accordance with

established deadlines

· Verify employee expense reports in accordance with the organization's policies

· Maintain and file vendor and employee AP files in an organized manner

· Respond to AP enquiries from external and internal stakeholders

· Review the AP subledger on a regular basis and make adjustments as necessary

· Provide support and backup to the AP function

· Assist in the preparation for the annual audit

· Assist with the overall month end process

· Complete journal entries, as required

· Analysis/reconciliation of accounts as required

· Work Ad hoc and other duties as needed

Experience and Qualifications:

· 2 years of related Accounts Payable experience, or an equivalent combination of

education and experience

· Advanced knowledge of MS Office products, including and particularly Excel

· Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize and meet

deadlines – 7-day month end close (no exception)

· Multi-tasking skills

· Sensitivity in dealing with confidential information

· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

· Strong accuracy, attention to detail, investigative and analytical skills

· Well organized with attention to detail

· Proven team player with ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

· Ability to adapt readily to change

· Knowledge of Workday, preferred
