That's where you come in As our new Workroom Manager, you'll be a key part of managing our production team and warehouse. You oversee the day-to-day manufacturing in our workroom and ensure that our project timelines are met. Though our team is extremely knowledgeable and well trained, the Workroom Manager brings a high level of production process knowledge and works hard to find efficiencies. Your computer skills are top notch and you're ready to bring the workroom and warehouse to a new level of automation through new software implementation. This position is a great fit for someone entrepreneurial minded who wants to take an existing position within the company in a new direction. Your background in production process will be key. You'll need to bring keen problem solving skills as no two projects are the same. Our customer service team and clients will sometimes rely on you to come up with an innovative solution for their project. The very best in this role will have more than an ability to run a team. They'll work to improve the company's manufacturing capabilities by working efficiently and going above and beyond. You're able to coach a team and improve process to meet company objectives. Working With Us This is a full-time position, with regular hours Monday to Friday. While most of the work is done in our production facility you will be required to perform site visits from time to time. So a reliable vehicle is required. Qualifications * 3+ years of production/manufacturing management experience in window coverings, clothing, or similar soft goods * 3+ years of warehouse and inventory management experience * Superior customer service skills and attitude * Proven experience in coaching a team to exceed company performance expectations * Exceptional computer skills * Valid driver's license * Sewing experience (an asset) * Experience with motorized window coverings (an asset) * High school diploma or equivalent, post secondary education will set you apart We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.
