The Charter Sales Coordinator is part of a dedicated group of Sales individuals who facilitate the complete charter sales process from the initial lead generation to invoicing. They are responsible for accurately completing charter flight quotations, negotiating and completing the associated processing for the flight/sale while offering and achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with charter clients by providing exemplary customer service.
  • Understand and fulfill the client's requirements by using internal and/or external resources appropriately.
  • Prepare and present charter quotations to clients as required, following the guidelines as set out in FOS (Flight Operations System).
  • Work closely with other members of the Business Aviation team to negotiate the terms of a sale if different from what is set out in FOS.
  • Maintain expected charter sales margins to achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Effectively communicate trip details to Flight Coordination and/or Flight Operations.
  • Ensure that payments have been secured prior to the flight departures.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and act as an ambassador to Skyservice.
  • Act quickly and professionally to resolve internal and external customer requests, concerns or complaints.
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends along with being ‘on-call' as part of a rotation with other charter sales team members.
  • Other duties as assigned by immediate Manager/Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Post-secondary education in aviation management or a related field.
  • 2-3 years' experience in charter sales is preferred. Inside/outside sales, or indepth experience in a customer facing position in business aviation or luxury brands, servicing high net worth individuals is highly desired.
  • Must demonstrate strong business acumen with a polished and professional approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong research and communication skills
  • Experience using FOS (Flight Operations System) is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
