Procurement Manager

Starting base salary $60,50080,500 CAD*

Plus Bonus, Equity & Benefits

The Procurement Manager will help to establish a formal Procurement function across the organization, and will be responsible for supply chain optimization. Reporting to the SVP, Payment & Rewards and collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization, Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing the appropriate processes and procedures required to establish this strategic function, as well as hands on performance of its daily activities. They will play a key role in developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our business goals.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain procurement strategies that meet company objectives.
  • Analyze existing supplier base and related data to identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor consolidation, identification of redundant software and or underutilized software and other opportunities to streamline and optimize the cost of our supplier and vendor community.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
  • Source, evaluate, and recommend suppliers based on appropriate decision criteria.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as legal, Information Security, and People & Culture to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Perform the entire procurement process, from sourcing to contract execution.

What you'll bring to this role:

  • 5 years + experience within a Procurement function, including procuring software.
  • Degree / diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is considered a bonus.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
