Job DescriptionWe currently have a career opportunity for a Base Manager in Ottawa, Ontario.
Reporting directly to the Regional Eastern Director of Operations, the Base Manager is immersed in an exciting career opportunity that includes both base managerial and aircraft piloting or aircraft maintenance responsibilities.
Requirements
- Oversees aircraft, crew, equipment, and security operations for his base.
- Participates in programs and various management initiatives relating to safety, in conjunction with the management team, and submits recommendations.
- Coordinate base schedules in conjunction with the Regional Operations Manager, then assign tasks and responsibilities of staff under his responsibility.
- Supports and assists his team during flight planning and regarding local operating procedures.
- Responds to specific customer needs.
- Any other related task
- Experience on the Cessna 206 will be considered an important asset;
- A Canadian passport or valid visa;
- A security check and the ability to obtain an HIAA RAIC card;
- Drug and alcohol testing will be required prior to employment and randomly during the term;
- Strong ability to work in a group environment;
- Focus on customer service;
- Communication skills in English; French is an asset.
