Salary:

Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, the Document Control Assistant will support the Quality Systems department with data entry within the companys Product Life Cycle (PLM) software.

This will be a seasonal, temporary position during the months of June through August working full-time hours (40).

Please note this is an in-office position, located at our head office in Ottawa, ON, address: 2650 Queensview Dr. Unit #150, Ottawa, ON K2B 8H6.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Input data into the ARAS software
  • Verify accuracy of the relationship links within the database
  • Review entered data for completeness
  • Maintain integrity of information
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple departments to ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and complete

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelors Degree or Technologist/Technician in Manufacturing, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • A combination of hands-on work experience and education will be considered in lieu of identified educational requirements.

Required Experience

  • No prior data entry experience required
  • Working directly in a team environment, and communicate effectively through electronic tools and in-person meetings

Competencies

  • Interpersonal and team membership skills
  • Time management and organizational skills in a technical environment
  • Strong attention to detail required
