Manufacturing ERP Specialist

Location: Colborne, ON

Hybrid work schedule. In office 3 days a week

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable ERP Specialist to support and enhance our manufacturing ERP system, called Industrios. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, optimizing ERP functionality, and supporting users across departments.

This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to future ERP transition initiatives as we modernize our systems to support long-term growth. In addition to ERP responsibilities, this position will involve foundational IT tasks related to networking, cloud systems, and virtualization to support our growing IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, configure, and optimize the IndustriOS ERP system to meet business and operational needs.
  • Assist in ERP system implementations, upgrades, and integration projects.
  • Provide end-user support, including troubleshooting, training, and resolving ERP-related issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, IT, finance, and supply chain to align system capabilities with business objectives.
  • Maintain clear documentation of ERP configurations, customizations, workflows, and procedures.
  • Ensure ERP system integrity, data accuracy, and security.
  • Participate in ERP-related improvement projects and assist with data readiness and process mapping in preparation for future system enhancements or transitions.
  • Support basic IT network administration and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in managing cloud-based applications and services related to ERP (e.g., EDI, ASN) and general IT operations (e.g., Office 365, Azure).
  • Provide support in managing and monitoring virtual environments and assist with VM provisioning and maintenance.
  • Participate in testing, backups, patching, and disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Some desktop support. Including printers, bar code scanners, and other ancillary devices.

Skills and Experience:

2-5 years of experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment required

Working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as MRP, EDI, and ASN workflows.

Proficiency in query languages and databases such as Pervasive SQL and MS-SQL.

Experience with reporting tools such as Bartender and Crystal Reports.

Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN.

Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS) and cloud-based tools.

Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Education:

  • College degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Azure Fundamentals, or VMware Certified Associate (VCA) are considered an asset but not required.
