Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) is dedicated to providing Canadians with the highest level of care across a wide range of home-based and community-setting services.

As Client Services Director, you will set the vision and lead the execution of regional service delivery across a multidisciplinary rehab and therapy portfolio. You'll provide strategic direction to senior leaders and interdisciplinary teams, driving clinical excellence, operational performance, workforce strategy, and stakeholder partnerships. This high-impact leadership role supports our operations across the Greater Toronto Area, Lindsay, and Campbellford regions.

This is a full-time permanent position based out of the Toronto in a hybrid environment of home, branch, and in-office.

What you'll be doing:

Leadership & Service Delivery

  • Operationalize CTG's strategic priorities by developing and executing regional plans that deliver measurable clinical outcomes, elevate client experience, and support sustainable growth.

  • Provide executive oversight of rehab and therapy services, ensuring delivery of high-quality, evidence-informed care in home and community settings.

  • Monitor operational and clinical KPIs to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds targets, quality benchmarks, and regulatory expectations.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

  • Represent CTG with credibility and influence, building strong relationships with leaders across provincial Health Authorities and local Ontario Health @Home.

  • Strengthen engagement with healthcare partners, and funders to enhance collaboration and client impact.

  • Act as a trusted partner in advancing integrated, community-based care solutions.

Client-Centred Clinical Excellence

  • Partner with CTG's senior governance team to drive integrated, person-centered care strategies.

  • Anticipate and respond to evolving healthcare trends and regulations to inform service innovation and quality excellence.

Financial & Operational Accountability

  • Manage full profit and loss (P&L) accountability for the region, aligning financial performance with strategic goals.

  • Oversee budgets, forecasting, and resource planning to optimize operational efficiency and service sustainability.

  • Leverage data to identify risks, uncover opportunities, and support high-quality decision-making

  • Contribute to the development of innovative service models and revenue opportunities.

People Leadership

  • Cultivate a high-performing, inclusive culture grounded in CTG's values of accountability, compassion, and growth.

  • Drive talent strategies focused on recruitment, engagement, development, and retention

  • Coach, mentor, and support a team of leaders to deliver excellence and build capacity

Change Management & Innovation

  • Lead change initiatives that support transformation, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Cultivate agility and resilience across teams during times of transition and system evolution.

Skills needed for success:

  • Must be a Regulated Allied Health Professional with active membership and good standing in their respective college (e.g., PT, OT, SLP, SW, RD).

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, with a strong focus on home and community care environments.

  • Minimum 3 years of operational leadership with direct responsibility for managing leaders, budgets, aligning expenses with revenue, and monitoring financial performance against established targets.

  • Strong data analytics skills, with the ability to interpret performance metrics and translate insights into operational and strategic decisions.

  • Demonstrated experience in operational planning and execution, with the ability to set long-term goals and drive measurable results.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead leaders, influence stakeholders, and build strong partnerships across the health system.

  • Completion of a Master's degree in Business, Health Administration, or related field is an asset. Strong foundation in operations, financial management, service delivery, and strategic planning.
