Our client, a mid sized reputable law firm located in Downtown Toronto, is looking to hire an Associate to join their successful growing team.
About the Role

The firm is expanding its insurance litigation team and is seeking a driven Associate with 2+ years of experience. Experience in any of the below is required:

• Accident Benefitsc disputes (LAT and court)
• Insurance Defence files involving complex bodily injury and property damage claims
• Occupiers' and product liability matters
• Sexual-abuse claims and class actions
• Coverage opinions and litigation

You will work directly with seasoned partners and enjoy early carriage of files, client exposure, and courtroom appearances.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience at a defence firm
• Must be able to work well independently with little supervision as well as see the benefits of being part of a team
• Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Critical thinking and analysis
• Show discretion and good judgment in dealing with sensitive and confidential situations
