About The Role

Bosa Properties is looking for an ­­­Assistant Community Manager to join our team of talented real estate professionals. Reporting to the Residential Property Manager, this individual will have a unique opportunity to ­­­­create a vibrant and exceptional resident experience at our building in Surrey. The Assistant Community Manager plays a critical role in contributing to the success of our community, assisting with day-to-day operations, resident engagement initiatives, team management, and financial administration.

What You'll Do

9 Months prior to launch until building occupancy:

• Schedule and complete suite pre-inspections, inspections.
• Offer solutions to best meet customer needs, according to company standards;
• Maintain adequate stock of supplies, equipment, parts, and materials needed to complete warranty work orders and keep track of inventory;
• Collaborate with the Customer Care Team to communicate service item status, prioritization, and timing to complete requested warranty work;
• Evaluate warranty reports and coordinate necessary repairs with trade contractors as needed;
• Liaise with Axiom Builders' team to resolve complex issues or escalate concerns on timely resolution from suppliers and trades;
• Help support with urgent situations on-site, in close coordination with the Bosa Properties property management teams.

Post-Occupancy:

• Collaborate with the building team to perform various repair and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, appliance repairs and general duties related to maintenance. Conduct inspections of mechanical rooms, identify issues, and coordinate trade support;
• Assist in coordinating month-end turnovers of rental suites, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents;
• Adhere to all safety protocols, building codes, and regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks;
• Respond to after-hours and weekend emergencies promptly and effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and building;
• Review building operations budget, monthly spend, and communicate variances to site manager.

What You Bring

• One year of customer service experience, with experience in building maintenance or a related field being considered an asset;
• A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to the success of the community;
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, team members and external partners;
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities, in a dynamic environment;
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods;
• Ability to work on the weekend and/or a holiday as required with month-end tasks;
• Experience with completing minor repairs and maintenance tasks for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and knowledge of when to call in external support.
• Experience with financial management and budgeting will be considered an asset.
• Fifth Class Power Engineer ticket or similar certification considered an asset.

Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.
