What you'll do: as a Maintenance Electrician:
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, instrumentation controls, and equipment to minimize downtime.
Independently perform work in a safe, clean, and organized manner, responding quickly to equipment breakdowns. - Support team development by sharing technical knowledge, training peers, and coaching production staff on equipment use and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and optimize PLC-controlled systems and related devices (e.g., drives, encoders, thermocouples).
- Install and repair electrical components, contribute to preventive maintenance programs, and assist with mechanical fixes when needed.
- Drive continuous improvement by monitoring equipment, analyzing issues, communicating effectively, and adhering to ISO standards.
What you'll bring: as a Maintenance Electrician:
- Licensed Electrician with a valid Ontario 442A or 309A certification.
- 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong troubleshooting background with industrial machinery and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
- Proficient with Allen Bradley PLCs and comfortable working with control systems.
- Skilled in reading schematics and applying the Canadian Electrical Code and safety standards.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs, with welding and fabrication considered a strong asse
