Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Canadian Red Seal certification as Journeyman Electrician
• 5 years experience as a Journeyman Electrician
• Field Safety Representative certification is preferred by not required*
• Possess a valid drivers license
• Ability to work independently in a busy environment
• Experience with routine maintenance and service electrical work
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment – including working alone
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Able to work well under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
• Computer literate
• Able to maintain a company service van – clean and organized materials and garbage/recycling
• Experience with residential service and repair, including Hydro service upgrades
• Experience with commercial service and repair
• Experience communicating with customers directly

Role Description

CF Electrical is currently hiring a Journeyman Electrician. We are seeking someone to perform at a high level and be part of a growing team. Our company has a reputation for professional work, and we are seeking someone who will strive to uphold this reputation.

The Journeyman Electrician will work directly with the project manager/scheduler and owner to effectively manage jobs such as service calls, small renovations and larger installations. The successful applicant must be able to work independently and manage a company service van, often visiting multiple job sites per day. They will be expected to be self-sufficient and follow all company scheduling systems. In addition, they will be expected to sometimes work with an apprentice and provide proper instruction and training.

This is an active and engaging role for someone who likes to be challenged and work on a variety of electrical jobs in the residential and commercial markets. It is best for someone who wants to work on their feet and is always interested in learning new skills. At CF Electrical we solve problems for people and provide a high level of customer service.
