Who you are:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Affairs Coordinator to support our live admin teams. Reporting directly to the Manager, Business Affairs, this individual plays a key role in coordinating contracting, ticketing, buyer relations, and administrative operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Fine Print:

  • Develop a general understanding of MRG Live Business Operations
  • Support the Live team with tour routing for artists and their teams, including assisting with show offers, calculator updates, venue calendar maintenance and upkeep, and scouting local support for MRG shows
  • Conduct competitor research and compiling competitive analyses
  • Manage and revise internal tracking tools (e.g., Asana)
  • Collaborate with Ticketing Manager, MRG Live on Coordinating with ticketing partners to schedule key deliverables and ensure accurate event setup
  • Process, intake, revise and issue event contracts for upcoming live engagements
  • Manage Accounts Payable flow in collaboration with Manager, Business Affairs, Finance team and other key partners
  • Liaise with Talent Agencies and other external representatives in a prompt and professional manner
  • Coordinate with Insurance partners to obtain necessary certificates and credentials
  • Maintain up-to-date and orderly records, folders, and systems related to live event planning.
  • Assist with internal tracking tools and administrative projects.
  • Identify, apply for and oversee grant, award and other funding opportunities for the company
  • Other responsibilities as determined by the Live Leadership Team

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in an administrative, business affairs, or event operations role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership and problem-solve independently
  • Proficiency with standard office and project management tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Excel, Asana)
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to assist with financial administration, including contract payment terms, invoice routing, and vendor setup
  • General knowledge of how business operations work, including contracts, ticketing, budgets, and internal processes
