Associate Auto Claims Adjuster

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate claims and determine coverage under a customer's policy
  • Inform and educate customers about the claims process
  • Process claims payments and ensure accurate information is captured within our claims system
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our customers and brokers

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of prior customer service experience
  • Undergraduate or post-secondary degree is required
  • Insurance industry experience, call center experience, or experience within a brokerage setting is helpful
  • Interested in pursuing a CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional Designation)
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective Communication Skills: Ability to convey information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure mutual understanding and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Sound Judgment & Decision-Making Skills: Capability to analyze situations, consider various perspectives, and make well-informed decisions
  • Strong Empathy: Demonstrating a deep understanding of and sensitivity to the feelings, thoughts, and experiences of others, fostering a positive customer experience
  • Resilience: Maintaining composure and a positive attitude in the face of challenges, setbacks, and stressful situations, while continuing to work towards achieving goals.
