Job Title: SimCorp Business Systems Analyst – IBOR/Conversion
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Work Type: Remote
Location: Edmonton, AB
Position Overview:

  • Our client is looking for a seasoned SimCorp Business Systems Analyst – IBOR/Conversion for a 6-month remote contract engagement.
  • The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SimCorp Dimension solution design and configuration, with a focus on Investment Book of Record (IBOR) functions and data conversion/migration processes.
  • This role is instrumental in supporting the implementation, enhancement, and integration of SimCorp Dimension within a multi-asset investment management environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The SimCorp Business Systems Analyst will lead solution design and configuration in SimCorp Dimension, specifically across IBOR-related modules such as:
  • Transaction Processing
  • Portfolio Calculation
  • Back Office Module
  • Filter Toolbox
  • Alternative Investments Manager
  • Support the conversion and migration of investment data from legacy systems into SimCorp Dimension, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and operational readiness.
  • The SimCorp Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with technology and business teams to validate requirements, map data, and test system configurations.
  • Ensure system design and data flows support robust investment finance and net asset valuation (NAV) processes.
  • Contribute to documentation, configuration standards, and test case development to ensure alignment with business and regulatory expectations.

Mandatory Experience:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SimCorp Dimension configuration and solution design, including expertise in key modules listed above.
  • 5+ years of experience in investment finance or net asset valuation domains, with a clear understanding of industry best practices.

Desirable Attributes:
  • 3+ years of demonstrated ability to analyze and translate high-level user requirements into detailed business requirements and technical specifications.
  • 3+ years of experience in roles requiring strong operational knowledge of the investment management industry, with exposure to front, middle, and back-office functions.
  • 3+ years of experience in roles requiring strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly within cross-functional or technical project teams.

Ideal Candidate Traits:
  • Deep understanding of IBOR and the data conversion lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach.
  • Capable of managing competing priorities while delivering accurate and timely results.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with global stakeholders.
