Who we are:

PhotoSat is a fast-growing Vancouver-based product-driven technology company that provides satellite surveying. Our global client list includes environmental firms, mining and resource development companies, and civil engineering firms for a wide range of applications. Because of our technology, our products are truly unique. There are many forms of surveying, however we are the only company completing satellite surveying. In short, we are competing against other technologies, not other companies. We're passionate about delivering seamless, customer experience, ongoing learning, and collaborating as a small team to offer smart solutions to real world challenges.

Your role at a glance:

We are looking for an outgoing and organized individual to join our Revenue Team as a B2B Project Developer / Sales Representative. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the other Project Developers, Project Managers, and Account Executives to grow PhotoSat's business.

What you will do:

· Find new B2B opportunities. You will work with other Project Developers and Account Executives to create new business opportunities for PhotoSat. You will find the right people in the right businesses, and you will develop relationships with them.

· Qualify new leads. You will meet with new prospective clients to learn about their needs and to determine where PhotoSat can provide value.

· Data entry. You will help maintain our CRM and keep it as up to date as possible.

· Coordinate presentations. You will work directly with our Account Executives to schedule and coordinate meetings with prospective clients. You will help the Account Executives prepare by researching our audience.

· Prepare meeting summaries. You will attend meetings and prepare detailed summaries of each meeting.

· Keep up with industry news. You will attend in-person and virtual industry conferences. You will attend informative webinars and presentations. You will stay up to date on industry news through newsletters and other online platforms.

· Share your ideas. You will attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings. Your ideas will become part of PhotoSat's marketing/sales strategy and future business success.

What you bring:

· Creative research approach. You are skilled at finding information through online platforms including LinkedIn, Zoom, and industry databases. You stay informed on current industry trends through newsletters and LinkedIn to keep your knowledge current and relevant.

· Solid communication skills. You can put together clear and concise emails to prospective clients and colleagues. You bring a professional and friendly presence to Teams calls and live presentations.

· Attention to detail. You are efficient with data entry. You send polished emails that are accurate, detailed, and clear.

· Desire to learn. You are interested in STEM. You are curious, and you can build a foundation of new knowledge to help you educate prospective clients. You like topics such as aerospace technology, geology, and engineering.

· Customer service experience. You have worked in a client-facing role, ideally in a SaaS and/or B2B work environment.

· Post-secondary education. This is an entry-level position. You have recently graduated from a diploma, certificate, or undergraduate degree program.

Things we hope you have:

· Education or experience in business administration, marketing, sales, STEM, construction industries, resource development industries, or technology

· Previous experience in SAAS B2B model

· Working knowledge of Salesforce / Pardot

· Working knowledge of MS Sharepoint / MS Office

· Working knowledge of LinkedIn

· Languages: English

Work Location, Schedule, and Compensation

This is a hybrid position. Our office is in downtown Vancouver, close to transit and parking.

Eligibility: Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada and must complete third-party screening assessments for this role.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Salary: up to $55,000 per year based on experience, plus company bonus scheme
