We are presently seeking a proactive and detailed orientated individual to fill the position of Jr. Casing Specialist. This position will be responsible for handling, inspecting, and selling of medium truck tire casings. This role is physical in nature requires product grading, inventory control, and vendor/customer interactions. Mentorship and training provided! Responsibilities:
  • Handle, sort, and stage medium truck tire casings for processing and distribution
  • Operate a forklift equipped with a tire clamp attachment
  • Inspect and grade casings to determine condition and value based on current fair market value
  • Collaborate with vendors to purchase casings aligned with sales requirements and price based on casing grade and fair market value
  • Support sales efforts by working directly with customers to fulfill orders
  • Apply sales forecasting to anticipate demand and ensure timely fulfillment of advance orders
  • Manage casing inventory levels to meet customer needs while maintaining stock accuracy
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams, vendors, and customers regarding inventory, orders, and lead times
  • Provide excellent customer service to foster strong vendor and customer relationships
  • Maintain accurate documentation for receiving credit notes, inventory, and sales transactions
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn casing grading standards
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving medium truck tires
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract
  • Forklift experience preferred; training provided
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic inventory and sales knowledge is a plus
  • Organized with solid documentation skills
