THE ROLE: SENIOR PROJECT COORDINATOR
As a Senior Project Coordinator in the Residential Construction division, you'll be a key player in ensuring the successful planning and execution of multi-family residential projects. Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you'll oversee documentation, stakeholder coordination, and project planning, while contributing to the delivery of projects ranging from townhomes to high-rise condominiums.

Requirements
SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with Project Managers to develop project plans, budgets, and schedules for residential construction projects.
• Manage and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and execution.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and challenges to maintain timelines and budgets.
• Assist in procurement by managing materials and equipment to meet project requirements.
• Track and report project costs, ensuring alignment with the approved budget.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project coordinators to foster team development.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control measures, and project specifications.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders, including clients and consultants.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 4+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator role, ideally with exposure to residential construction projects.
• Experience working on residential developments such as townhomes, mid-rise and high-rise condominiums, or long-term care facilities is highly desirable.
• A degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced understanding of residential construction processes and building codes.
• Proficiency in construction software, such as Procore, MS Project, or Bluebeam.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior staff members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with BC Building Code, zoning regulations, and WorkSafeBC standards.
