Peter Lucas Project Management invests in people, community, and cutting-edge technology to provide gold standard project delivery. We are seeking an experienced Construction Oversight Consultant to provide professional oversight and coordination of mechanical and civil construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site oversight of the supply and installation of a steel water surge tank.
  • Coordinate logistical operations, including the transportation of materials via truck and barge to and from the site.
  • Liaise and coordinate with operational staff to ensure construction activities have minimal impact on day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure all work is being executed in compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders and contractors to support efficient project execution.
Site Requirements:
  • Must align work hours and site presence with the site contractor's schedule. This may include rotational shifts such as:
    • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
    • 2 weeks on / 1 week off

Requirements

  • Proven experience in mechanical and civil construction oversight, preferably in hydroelectric or industrial environments.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage logistics in remote or complex project sites.
  • Familiarity with site safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
  • Previous Construction experience.
