About the RoleThe Production Worker - Material Handler role is responsible to ensure the efficient movement of work in progress and/or finished product while maintaining and ensuring quality. Working closely with your teammates to ensure that all production lines have material available and make the necessary adjustments as needed to avoid downtime.
What You Will Do- Pick and stage material for production as per the schedule.
- Ensure the quantities are correct and match what the system shows.
- Become proficient in ERP and other operating systems.
- Ensure all production lines have material available and make the necessary adjustments as needed to avoid downtime.
- Flag any inventory discrepancies and notify your Supervisor to have them corrected.
- Collaborate with production department leads to ensure schedules are met.
- Cut material to the needed size using a Bandsaw.
- Report any safety issues and concerns to your Supervisor or Manager.
- Cover breaks in other departments as needed.
- Starting pay: $24.50 CAD

- Are you able to work full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week) with shift times ranging between 5:30 am – 5:30 pm.
- Able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 35 lbs. repeatedly and stand for the duration of your shift.
- Forklift experience.
- Have a reliable means of transportation.
- Able to always wear prescribed PPE.
- Familiar with PPE and safety policies.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 or 14001:2015 environment.
- Experience working in production is a plus.
- Familiarity using production software is a plus.
- Familiarity with 6S, Theory of Constraints, and Kanban concepts is a plus.
- Fluent in English
